What is an App Store support URL?

What to include on your support page

Users should be able to recognize the app and find your support email without signing in.

Name and description

Use your app’s name and a short explanation of what it does. An icon or screenshot is optional.

Support email

Use an inbox you check for questions, bug reports, and feedback. AppLinks adds an “Email support” button to your page.

Privacy and contact links

AppLinks links to your privacy policy and contact page automatically.

How to create and add your support URL

AppLinks hosts the support website for you. You do not need to buy a domain, configure DNS, or deploy a website yourself.

1. Enter your app details and publish

   Enter your app name and description on the AppLinks homepage to preview your pages. Create an account to save a draft, add your support email and reviewed privacy policy, save your changes, then choose hosting and publish.

2. Copy your Support URL

   Open your app in AppLinks and expand “Copy your URLs” in the editor. Copy the Support URL, which looks like https://your-app.applinks.online.

3. Add it in App Store Connect

   Open your app, select the platform version you are preparing, and paste the complete address, including https://, into the Support URL field. Save your changes.

4. Check it before submitting

   Open the URL while signed out. Check the app details, contact method, and privacy policy link. Keep hosting active so the same URL remains available after launch.

Support URL or Marketing URL?

A Support URL helps users reach you about the app. A Marketing URL gives people more information about it. Apple lists the Support URL as a required part of your app’s platform version information and says it must lead to actual contact information.
